Shout Out!

I just wanted to give a SHOUT OUT and thank you to Laurynne for writing about Fall From Grace on her Blog - http://coffeebooksandlipgloss.blogspot.com/2012/09/fall-from-grace-by-christine-zolendz.html  (Every reviewer and blogger out there:  YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!  If it weren't for you spreading the word about our books, us indie authors would be still # 1,999,999 in rankings.)
I love that everyone keeps referring to Shane as the guy in the picture in this blog or M. Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold (I love him and I love his band, and I think his wife is the luckiest woman on the face of the earth!!!!!)  Um, just letting everyone know I seriously have book sex with those two guys every night as I'm finishing book 2.  SOOOOO good.
Someone wrote to me today and said I should lock myself in a closet and throw some snacks to my husband and kids to finish the book.  GOD I WISH!  I actually have one of those houses with really no closets!  Okay, there's a small one in each bedroom but there's no way my fat ass is fitting in one of them.
So what's going on with Shane and Grace?  Well, I've actually been trying to take everything that everyone has emailed and messaged me to heart about the story.  Because, like I've said before, I want you guys to be happy.  I know my favorite thing to do is cuddle up under the covers with my kindle and leave my life right where it is and completely lose myself in the characters lives.  And also as I'm writing book 2, I am finishing up Shane's side of the story, so I'm doing 2 books at once.  Hopefully I won't screw up!

And I don't get it either, I kind of suck at writing.  You guys are just too nice.

And to end off here's one of my favorite songs from Avenged Sevenfold - WATCH IT

  4. I just finished Fall From Grace and LOVED IT! I started the book last night....I was (and still am) sick. I needed to go to bed because not only am I not feeling well but I have two children who wake me up before the sun rises (not joking). I could NOT put the book down last night. I had to force myself to put it down after midnight. I know I'm reading a great book when I'd give up sleep to continue to read. I also know it's an awesome book when I cannot read it fast enough to see what will happen yet I don't want the book to end. Thank you for such a great read. I cannot wait for book 2!

    1. Christine: I caught this on my friend's facebook wall. I know she meant to place it here but I don't think she realized she didn't. I know she's been through a lot and would want to make sure you got her note. Here it is

      Christine,

I must thank you for helping a small part of my heart heal. My son in law passed away end of Jan 2012. My daughter followed shortly after in the end of Feb 2012. Both unrelated deaths. My family and I took custody of their 4 year old son. Prior. I read about 2-4 books a week. My heart was broken by their death's as you could imagine. Even with my other 3 children and my grandson; I have lost the joy of reading. I have been unable to focus on anything I was reading or even to follow a story line. I have always loved the stories of Enoch and Job, Cain and Able, etc. When I read the descriptions of Saving Grace and Fall from Grace, I at least bought them so in the future, if I thought I could read again, I would have them. I went to sleep at 7 pm last night completely emotionally exhausted. Was woken at 10 pm by grandson needing a cup of milk. I tried to go back to sleep, but as usual, I was unable to. I walked around the house, trying to do some things, but quietly so as not to wake others. My mind kept coming back to your books descriptions and Grace and her lost soul. I sat down and started reading, I read both books, TWICE! I am completely in love with your writing and will be looking for more of your work. (AND REALLY AM LOOKING FORWARD TO READING SHANE 'S POV!) Don 't let me down girl! Get a writing! Thank you again, and I am designing broken angel wings for a tattoo in memory of my daughter. I had thought i was going to get a Phoenix on my back, as she loved them, but I like the idea of the broken wings. Thank you so much Christine. Please know your writing has touched at least one lost soul, and is helping me find my way home to my family and my life. With love for your talent and respect for your courage, thank you. Tracy

    2. I am completely speechless. What can I possibly say? This was the greatest, most touching words I have received for my books. I am truly sorry for the pain that has touched your life and I am humbled and grateful that I could have touched you in such a way. Thank you for letting me know your feelings. Your words have really touched my heart and you honestly made me want to continue writing more than I ever have before. Thank you.
Please Tracy can you email me your email address? ChristineZolendz@aol.com I would really like to contact you!
